The Volleyball Elite Academy by the Numbers We had 101 different athletes take at least one of the 22 sessions we offered this winter. Ignite jump training saw 33 athletes work on their jump for next season. Thanks to all the athletes and parents who supported them at the start of the academy. Summer is here and we are offering beach twice a week and ending the summer with a four-day camp. The beach sessions are for people who want to learn to play doubles and the camp is to prepare athletes for school tryouts. Hope the rest of this year is as exciting as the start. http://ift.tt/2sUcrUU

The Volleyball Elite Academy has introduced a very experienced group of coaches to cover the skills of volleyball to the athletes. Bill Beaudry has played volleyball for 35 years. The majority of that being co-ed adult volleyball. He has played a number of provincial and western Canadian tournaments along the journey. I started coaching at a young age in the late '80's. I've coached high school and post-secondary teams along the way. I have also coached other sports as well, such as soccer, softball, and hockey. But volleyball is my passion. Presently I coach the boy's program at BJM high school and am coaching a U15 men's club team. We are very lucky to have him sharing his expertise.
