SCCS Secretary
• Two hours a day in the afternoon.
• Working in the Pod.
• From 1p.m. until 3 p.m. because that is when we will have seven people in the room.
• At the moment the teachers have not built an extensive quiz base to eliminate the need for textbooks. The hold up is strictly transcribing all the questions they have developed over the years of teaching.
• Email schools throughout the province with promotional material
• Burning of CD for courses.
• Glossary bases for each of the courses need to be typed to build a science, computer, math, english and other subject area data bank that can be accessed by the students.
• Each school needs to be sent a list of their students.
• Develop a more streamline hard copy of the registration procedure for the schools.
• Hard copies of students records need to be filed.
• Midterm marks and final grades need to be printed and mailed.
• Schools need to be sent the results from their students.
• A data bank of students needs to be developed and maintained.
• Daily prayer needs to be collect from the different sources and placed online.
• Typing of text for the courses.
• Assisting in the development of a recording method to track teachers' behaviour online.
• Faxing and photocopying.
• Assist in the contacting of other school boards.
• Assist in the development of a tour to advertise this project.
• Assist in the development of a brochure for the hearing, and visually impaired.
• Transcribe audio files to text for impaired and to assist some files.
• Assist in the collection and organizing data collected from the students about their online behaviour.
• Assist in the contacting of guest speakers for the school.
• Assist in the searching of the web for web sites that pertain to online subject areas.
• Organization of software that is used for SCCS, make sure we have backups of all software.
• Assist in the building of icon data banks that will pertain to subject areas.
• Assist in the development of a manual that will be used to orient new developers.
• Develop a student handbook that will assist them in orientating.
• Help with updates on the SCCS web page, add research when found.
• Develop a procedure manual for the registration of students.
• Help develop a copyright policy.
• Help develop a contract for developers.
